Dr Stefan Ciz
Dr Stefan Ciz is a dentist anesthesiologist that has limited his practice to paediatric sedation for dental treatment. Dr Ciz graduated from the University of Western Ontario faculty of dentistry in 1989. He completed his Masters in Dental Anesthesia at the University of Toronto in 2005. Over the course of 15 years Dr Ciz established two paediatric sedation facilities in the Waterloo region and has treated tens of thousands of children that required sedation for dental treatment. In 2021, Dr Ciz stepped back from working in the Waterloo region and has relocated to Grey Bruce.
What We Do
Most dental procedures in children are completed with local anesthesia (dental freezing with a needle): however, very young, fearful or uncooperative children may require sedation for invasive and extensive dental treatment. SD4K provides dental treatment for children under IV or deep sedation. Deep sedation insulates your child from the stress and discomfort associated with dental procedures in one appointment with NO freezing.
